A American Theatre Wing e a The Broadway League anunciaram, nesta terça-feira (30), os indicados à 77ª edição do Tony Awards, que premiará as melhores produções do teatro norte-americano.
A leitura dos nomes foi feita pelos atores Jesse Tyler Ferguson, de “Modern Family”, e Renée Elise Goldsberry, vencedora do Tony de Melhor Atriz por “Hamilton”.
A cerimônia de premiação do Tony Awards 2024 será realizada em Nova York, no dia 16 de junho, e contará com a apresentação de Ariana DeBose, vencedora do Oscar de Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante por “Amor, Sublime Amor”, que ocupou o posto na edição do ano passado.
Dentre os indicados para a edição deste ano do Tony aparecem nomes como Jessica Lange (“King Kong” e “Céu Azul”), Rachel McAdams (“Meninas Malvadas” e “Spotlight”), Eddie Redmayne (“Os Miseráveis” e “A Teoria de Tudo”), Daniel Radcliffe (“Harry Potter”) e Jim Parsons (“The Big Bang Theroy” e “The Boys In The Band”).
A peça de teatro mais indicada foi “Stereophonic”, que lidera com 13 indicações. Quem recebeu o mesmo número de indicações foi “Hell’s Kitchen”, que lidera entre os musicais.
