Cheia afeta meio milhão no RS, com 55 mortos mais 7 óbitos suspeitos

O desastre climático que inundou 317 cidades do Rio Grande do Sul e afeta 510,5 mil gaúchos já causou 55 mortes confirmadas e tem sete óbitos sem investigação, de acordo com o balanço mais atualizado, divulgado às 18h desse sábado (4), pela Defesa Civil. O órgão registrou que há 74 pessoas desaparecidas e 107 feridos, por causa dos temporais que atingem o estado desde a ultima segunda-feira (29) e afetam 317 municípios gaúchos.

Quase 17.965 pessoas e 3.251 animais foram resgatados pela Brigada Militar, a Polícia Civil e o Corpo de Bombeiros Militar, até a noite de ontem (4), nas operações de resgate que focaram nas cidades de Eldorado do Sul, Canoas, Porto Alegre (região das Ilhas) e São Leopoldo. Estes municípios concentraram um número elevado de pessoas ilhadas, após o aumento no nível dos rios da Região Metropolitana de Porto Alegre.

A Defesa Civil estadual garantiu que tem atuado para atender a população afetada e promover a segurança das vítimas. E orienta as pessoas a se cadastrarem para receberem os alertas meteorológicos, enviando o CEP da localidade por SMS para o número 40199. Após uma confirmação ser enviada, o número ficará disponível para receber as informações, sempre que elas forem divulgadas.

“Também é possível se cadastrar via aplicativo Whatsapp. Para ter acesso ao serviço, é necessário se registrar pelo telefone (61) 2034-4611 ou clicando aqui. Em seguida, é preciso interagir com o robô de atendimento enviando um simples ‘oi’. Após a primeira interação, o usuário pode compartilhar sua localização atual ou qualquer outra do seu interesse para, dessa forma, receber as mensagens que serão encaminhadas pela Defesa Civil estadual”, explica o órgão.
